Motivational Monday :)

If this part of exercising doesn't get you excited...then you need to find different workout clothing :)  I look forward to getting up in the morning and putting on comfortable cloths that I usually end up wearing all day anyway!

Motivational Monday :)

Every fitness professional has those key components to staying fit and healthy.  I do believe that these 3 W's are very important.  The funny thing is that I used to write down everything when I was pregnant with my first child...and at that time, I wasn't even into fitness.  Now, 2 kids later and a group fitness instructor, I can't seem to write anything down :(  Lazy, scared to know or just to busy to take the time, I really can't tell you for sure but I plan to work on it.  I hope that you can make these 3 components a priority in your daily activities.

Happy Monday!

Motivational Monday :)

When I first began exercising with my 1st child, I never realized how rewarding it would be.  I love how much she already knows about fitness and when she sees a curb or step...she tells me she is doing step ups or stretches!  I love knowing that I am showing her the benefits of exercise, how fun it can be, that we can do it together and that being fit and healthy is very important in life.

Motivation for your Monday

I sometimes find that just getting out of the house is the hardest part....ESPECIALLY with the kiddos (snacks, bathroom, water, toys, crying, clothing, etc...you name it, we go through it.)  Once I am done though, I am so HAPPY that I did get out the door for my workout!  photo from watchmegorun.com

Hope you are having a fabulous Monday!

Motivational Monday :)

"If you're tired of starting over, stop giving up." (I grabbed this from fitfabcities.com)

This can fit into many aspects of my life, that's for sure :) Many of us start an exercise regimen and don't see immediate results so we stop or just give up. This applies to many of you dieters too!  Exercise and staying fit is a way of life and it does take commitment.   I guarantee that if you stay committed to a fitness schedule, you will become stronger and faster.  It may take awhile but you will see results as long as you continue.

I remember how weak I was when I started a stroller fitness program.  After a few months of being committed to attending class at least 3 days a week, I was able to do toe push-ups, lunges without dreading them, I could actually see some abdominal muscles and I was well on my way for running a few 5ks.

Knowing how weak I was and intimidated I was by the other moms who were already so fit, I didn't give up. When you start your next project, diet, exercise routine..whatever you choose, I hope that you stay committed and get it done, "stop giving up."

Have a great Monday!  It's looking like another beautiful Alaskan day.
